I am always on the lookout for gorgeous lighting. And while I await my dining room chandeliers to be cleaned and refinished, I like to browse for options. Most recently, I fell in deep love with Zia-Priven Design's H2O brass and crystal chandelier. J'adore this light. The over-sized Czech crystal beads create a weightless feel that would hang beautifully over my dining room table. Agree?

David Antiques is an absolute must for anyone who wants to find the most unusual and charming bibelots. There are about 97 things on my Christmas list and they can all be found at this truly charming shop. David Stypmann, the proprietor, is an incredibly chic gentleman, who has a wealth of knowledge and is generous enough to share it with any and all. As a decorating editor who has worked in New York City for more than 14 years, there are very few places that I will always find magic when I walk through the door. This is most certainly one of them.
Rock Salt. I put salt on everything, so my kitchen is always well-stocked with a variety of salts both commonplace and exotic. At their Manhattan shop, Design Within Reach currently has pink Himilayan salt rock and rock salt shavers that I would love to find in my stocking this year - so much prettier than coal!
Vie Luxe Candles. Marjorie Gubelman's gorgeous candles have scents inspired by her favorite travel destinations. I love them even more for the polished votive holders they're packaged in.
Vase from De Vera. I mentioned it in my post about their SoHo shop a couple of weeks ago and I can't get it out of my mind!
Centerpiece from BAC on Crosby St.
Carrara bath towels. These towels are made from 100% Egyptian long staple cotton that has been woven into the thickest and plushest towels I've ever laid hands on. Available at the ABC home retail store in New York.
Rory Tahari's new book, "Lists for Life: the Essential Guide for Getting Organized and Tackling Tough To-Do's." I cannot think of a more appropriate book to help me A.) settle into my new apartment and B.) bring in the New Year gracefully and harmoniously.
Drabware. I love this dishware for its versatility and neutral color.
