Have a look at designer Lauren Stern's blog. The idea is simple: each day she posts a work of art that looks like a room. I love to see the word of art and interiors come together. Check out the blog here. It reminds me of the post I did last year on art to room.

Elizabeth Taylor's Amazing Collection

Posted by

Last week Martha and I had the opportunity to attend the preview of the collection of Elizabeth Taylor to be auctioned at the legendary Christie's auction house in NYC.  We were able to see pieces from her renowned collection of jewels and haute couture as well as fine decorative arts and film memorabilia. It was an amazing evening.  If in NYC I encourage you to visit the exhibition that runs through Monday December 12th.  Given my birthday and Christmas are both in December I have high hopes that lots # 80, 78, 433, and 330 may find their way into my stocking/closet.  My colleagues have some favorites of their own which I am happy to share with you.  Kudos to Lauren Land for throwing one of my favorite events of the Christmas season.
