Nancy Lorenz: Fine Art and Commissioned Design

Posted by

Although she is known for her beautiful paintings, Nancy Lorenz has gathered a following among architects and collectors eager to commission her large luminous works for interior decoration installations.

Her work embodies an East-meets-West kind of style. Techniques refined from Oriental craftsmanship areĀ  partnered with the bold, gestural brushwork of Abstract Expressionism. Lorenz lived in Toyko with her family for 5 years in her teens and became "enamored with Asian crafts" and several degrees later, developed this beautiful style.

Her sense of aesthetic for both design and fine art has become a go-to for Hollywood's elite, such as Cindy Crawford. Her work can also be seen in high-profile places such as the Obama White House, the Chanel flagship store in Paris, and several museums of art around the country.
