John Derian Tableware for less than $20

Melamine Spider Web

Spider Web, 7.25" Side Plate. $8.75

John Derian has added five new styles to his homegoods collection. The series includes a new charger, dinner plates, side plate, and two bread plates, all less than $20.

Based on French earthenware patterns from the 1700s this collection is whimsical and colorful. They're made of  unbreakable, heavy-duty quality melamine making them perfect for both indoor and outdoor use.

Derian himself, suggests keeping a stack of dinner plates on hand for large dinner parties, and saving smaller plates for children's tea parties.

  • Beautiful Melamine plate collection, visited the website and Love it

  • Kevin,

Love the plates but was interested to read some cautionary discussion about microwaving melamine and the serving of hot foods on them. Especially melamine from China.

These would be perfect for the occasional use, i.e. parties and picnics.
