I am captivated by Alexandra Llewellyn’s bespoke, handcrafted Backgammon boards. Using only the finest materials, leather pieces from Trinity of London, mother of pearl from Rajasthan, and British walnut, Llewellyn brings a modern sensibility to one of the worlds oldest games.

Although she has a line of 6 boards, this London based artist also takes one-off commissions designing every detail of the game from conversations with the client. I'd love to add one of these conversation pieces to my collection.
