Hermes can generally do no wrong, and the 4 Temps Tie is no exception. I have been telling everyone about it since I spotted it last week. In a super-soft knit silk, the tie is made up of four complementary colors (gray-blue, chestnut, clay, and a brown they call "cigar"), so you can change it up depending on your mood (and, yes, outfit). Normally, anything reversible conjures bad memories of the '80s, but this manages to be surprising, useful, and a chic conversation piece.
I love every combination it comes in -- the red-brown-navy is crisp and just-right for winter -- and the colors peek out jauntily when you're wearing it. A fabulous gift for any lucky man, or a worthy splurge for yourself.
