Roberto Koch has curated the most unbelievable collection of photography in Master Photographers, $125. Featuring images by Robert Capa, Helmut Newton, Man Ray, and many many more -- and weighing in at almost nine pounds -- this museum-in-a-book is no joke. Master Photographers is infinitely inspiring, and a necessary addition for any serious photography fan. Flipping through the pages of Master Photographers feels like walking through MoMa, New York’s legendary Museum of Modern Art.

Paris, 1989 by Elliott Erwitt
Of the twenty photographers showcased, it’s too difficult for me to pick just one favorite. I miss the streets of Paris because of Robert Doisneau and Henri Cartier-Bresson, but Walker Evans reminds me to appreciate New York. The juxtaposition of fashion, documentary, and war images illustrates the endless power and potential of the art form.
