Wallpaper may go in and out of favor, but to me, it's always a decorating staple. (It can provide a dramatic backdrop, add warmth and texture, and convey a sense of whimsy -- all depending how you use it). One of the most outstanding sources is Philip Jeffries Ltd. Established in 1976, this family business creates beautiful textured wallcoverings from grasscloth, hemps, linens and gold leaf.

Take the rivets collection as an example: It looks and feels like nailheads and comes in luxe colorways (shown above).

Robert Verdi used black on black to magnificent effect (above). I love putting wallcoverings on the ceiling -- it adds more dimension and glamour to a room.
Visit Phillip Jeffries Ltd. to browse through their newest and existing collections. I've got my eye on their new metallic raffia.

Brick accent walls and kitchen and bath back splashes look great. Brickweb Thin Brick is an easy to install thin brick. It's made from actual brick cut thin and is as easy to install as tile and it looks great!

Beautiful patterns and such great use of wallpaper. I especially like the black with the white.
