Honey, They Shrunk the Cheesecake

A couple of weeks ago, a beautifully packaged box arrived at my office full of decadent bite-size cheesecakes from BiteMe Cheesecakes (don't you just hate when that happens?). It was 11 a.m. and -- to the utter detriment of my lunch -- I couldn't stop gobbling up the bite-size treats.

I love that in this age of sugary sweet cake pop and cupcake company overload, the two men behind the Williamsburg, Brooklyn venture gave their product an irreverent name. And the surprising flavors (Merlot compote, sweet potato rum crunch, and strawberry balsamic reduction) nestled in the cookie crust make them more sophisticated than cutesy.

Our Weddings editors snapped them up as a genius idea for a reception, but I also think they'd be perfect for a lighter twist on Thanksgiving pies or a birthday party. Luckily, they've just started shipping nationally.

  • Hi Kevin, Wow I love it, checked their site and they have amazing varieties of different flavors, looks delicious.

    Since July, I did not settle yet, been traveling a lot lately, came back from a trip this week and traveling next week back to London for a month, I can't wait to see our kids and Christmas spirit.
