Masquerade Make-Up

Posted by

Remember the Lady Gaga masquerade ball that I spoke about last week? I thought that I would give you a look at what I chose. Working with make-up artist Jenn Navaro from Jump Management, we sort of went for what I considered a masked bandit look -- but others thought it was inspired by the movie Black Swan. Either way it was a pure joy to work with Jenn and watch her work her magic. I must say that it was one of the most comfortable masks that I have ever worn.

IMG_7574Jenn's work table was quite impressive.

IMG_7588She went straight for the eyes and just started layering. And layering.

IMG_7599It was sort of interesting to see how all that black changed the color of my eyes, which I have never liked.

IMG_7623The ombre effect took a long time to achieve, but once all was said and done, I was very happy.

IMG_7619It only took about half a jar of Vaseline to get all this make-up off.
