Book Friday: Cally Blackman's 100 Years of Fashion

I've found a book that both history buffs and fashionistas can enjoy. Blackman tracks 100 years of fashion beginning with the end of fur-wearing high society Europe, through the birth of Mariano Fortuny's pleated silk and onto Emilio Pucci's colorful caftans, and ends with designs from today's runway. In paging through the book, you'll notice how fashion history has repeated itself. Who knows what the next 100 years will bring. Take a peek:
