I've found a book that both history buffs and fashionistas can enjoy. Blackman tracks 100 years of fashion beginning with the end of fur-wearing high society Europe, through the birth of Mariano Fortuny's pleated silk and onto Emilio Pucci's colorful caftans, and ends with designs from today's runway.
