William Yeoward is best known in America for his exquisite crystal, which was first shown in 1996 in London and was rewarded by British House and Garden magazine's "Best New Product" award. He quickly expanded his collections, becoming known as a premier designer of fabric, wallpapers, and rugs. I admire Yeoward's work, and I recently revisited his book William Yeoward at Home (Cico Books, 2010), which focuses on Yeoward's life in both the city—London—and the country—the Cotswolds. Take a look at some of his beautiful spaces.
1 William Yeoward's country home kitchen features a window seat, piled with cushions, plus a rustic oak table.
2 Yeoward bought old French carafes and Hungarian plates because he enjoyed their "honest beauty and integrity."
