Around the Martha Stewart Living offices it's no secret that Valentine's Day is one of my favorite holidays. Each year I give my co-workers and friends small tokens of my affection—just to make sure they know how much I appreciate them. Here are some items that are on my shopping list this year.

This five-piece caramel box ($9.75, Gail Ambrosius) contains dark-chocolate-covered caramels sprinkled with briny fleur de sel—a heavenly combination of flavors and textures.

Who wouldn't love to receive a carefully-curated flower arrangement (prices available upon request) from the geniuses of Saipua Soap & Flowers? I've admired their work for ages—their arrangements are just so fresh and innovative.

Give the gift of warmth with cosy cashmere socks ($52, Barney's New York).

An absolute classic, Santa Maria Novella eau de cologne ($125, Lafco New York) comes in many intoxicating scents.

A sweet votive holder or bud vase, this glassybaby ($44, glassybaby) comes in Martha's signature color: Bedford Brown. Plus, a portion of the proceeds goes to the Martha Stewart Center for Living.

Everyone needs a sturdy (and fashion-forward) umbrella. Keep your loved ones dry with this awning stripe folding umbrella ($130, Barneys New York), which comes in four classic colors.

These graphic mittens ($65, Nordstrom) make bundling up to brave the cold a bit more bearable. I love all of the witty pairings Kate Spade comes with for their mittens.

A subscription to National Geographic or Martha Stewart Living would be a thoughtful gift for the creatives on your list.
