Have you heard all the buzz about C. Wonder? I, for one, can hardly get in a cab without seeing one of its charming and whimsical commercials and was thrilled to be invited to a sneak peek party before the scheduled October 22 opening.

This 5,100 square foot new concept storefront and brand is being backed by Chris Burch, whose emphasis on affordable luxury looks to intrigue even the most apprehensive consumer. Dubbed "the ultimate new shopping experience for women," C. Wonder is placing an emphasis on primo customer satisfaction that's laced with technology and high style.
Not only do the dressing rooms feature adjustable light and music options (Dim & Flirty? Bright and Cool?), but whole system of tagging and checkout is ultra cutting edge. Every salesperson will carry a small interface that can swipe your credit card, locate the sweater size you need (either in the store or in C.Wonder Cyberspace), and email you a receipt. Enjoy these pictures from the reception!
2 Each room is dubbed with different theme, with accompanying carpets, ceilings, chandeliers and decorations.
4 An impromptu coffee bar was set up behind the normal register area. That punchy black & white wallpaper pattern is printed on their bags and boxes, too!
6 Look at this table full of gilded, bright jewelry that will not break the bank. We struggled to find items over $100!
11 Signage with the brown-paper window covers in the background. Can't wait 'til Saturday? Glad you're here!
12 Alien Piggie Radios. 98% of the items for sale in the C. Wonder store are actually C. Wonder brand.
25 Change the music, the volume, and the lights! They admitted it might be hard for people to leave these fitting rooms!
30 We loved so many of their accessories and holding bins. This one isn't for sale, but isn't it fabulous?
32 Mastermind Chris Burch welcomes us to the store and explains the inspiration and personalized approach behind this affordable, high-fashion concept.
33 Amy spoke about the detailed technology advancements and style planning that went into conceptualizing the whole store.
From home furnishings and housewares to women's clothing, shoes, and jewelry (plus an in-store monogram service), this bright and beaming C. Wonder is going to be -ful of big impressions.

There are so many fresh concepts in this store - both in terms of the products, price points and ideas like the dressing rooms, check out, etc. I wish I could get to NYC sometime soon - hopefully their online presence will follow shortly!
