One of my favorite hidden finds in New York City is Jamali Gardens -- located in the flower district not too far from my office. It's a place I often go to when I am preparing for a photo shoot. I made a visit to the store not long ago when I was putting together different components for a room -- more specifically, for the room I created in just one week for the first iPad issue of Martha Stewart Living. I was even followed around by a video crew at the store when I stopped by to do the shopping -- take a look at this clip of me wandering around the store to find some new products to bring back to my office...
The store is a treasure trove of garden supplies and other home accent pieces as well as an incredible inventory and assortment of holiday decorations. If you don't live in New York City, Jamali Gardens has a fabulous online shopping center. I was able to do a little shopping in the upstairs portion of the store, take a look at the photos from the second floor...
The place looks beautiful! Question... any place in the city to buy terra-cotta planters in the shape of faces? They will be mounted on a wood fence here at the house. Thanks ... and we enjoy your work a LOT !
