Writing thank-you notes, nevermind letters, seems to have become a thing of the past. I find the writing of a thank-you note to be absolutely essential. I have always found that if I write a thank-you note immediately after receiving a gift or when I get home from a dinner or party where I am someone's guest works best.
Stationary is a great way to express your design aesthetic as well as communicating your sentiments. The options for design and price point are many and they are widely available, so there's no excuse for not sending one.

I always try to send a handwritten thank you note after attending a function in a friend's home. I went to a dinner party at an very old friend's home on Saturday night. What a beautiful evening. The next day I promptly wrote a thank you note while the memories and good feelings were fresh in my mind. The note was mailed first thing Monday morning. I know everyone who has ever received one of my thank you notes has very much appreciated the thought and effort.

Dear Kevin:
I have been very remiss in sending out thank you cards. On the other hand I am so delighted when I receive one. Todays blog has open my eyes to just how important this little gesture is in appreciating someones efforts.
