As promised yesterday, I wanted to introduce you to my Project Decorate co-decorator, Rebecca Robertson. As part of our story for Martha Stewart Living iPad issue, she too had to take an agreed-upon couch and build a very personal room around it.
"My room was really about the mix of color, pattern, and texture," says Rebecca. "I also really wanted to play up the use of eclectic objects and ensure there was a balance of high-end vintage with pieces from Ikea."

Hopefully you've downloaded the issue and seen Rebecca's chic space. Now, here's a peak into her creative process...
3 It is always so fun to see how many things start on an inspiration board that end up in the finished product.
6 Mixing pattern is something that Rebecca loves to do--here she is testing out a combo at Madeline Weinrib in NYC.
10 We make sure that everything will work together in the room-Rebecca tests out her chevron patterns on Bergere chairs from Duane Antiques.
And a bit of her shopping for the perfect pieces.

Hi Kevin,
Love Martha Stewart Magazine for the iPad, amazing issue love love it!
Thank you!
I mentioned that in the summer I was furnishing our new apt in Beirut, I am sending u some pics, the apt still needs some paintings, lighting fixtures and some accessories! Since I live in Kuwait/London, I visit Lebanon in the summer and christmas holidays! http://www.flickr.com/photos/rowaidafl/sets/72157625248176329/

Hi, Steffen
I am so sorry you are having any difficulty. I was told that you should absolutely contact customer service for assistance at customersupport@marthastewart.com.
On a normal wi-fi connection it takes about 10-15 minutes to download.

Hi, Yasmin
Thank you for your question. The pink flowers in the background are peonies. They were selected in various stages of opening. That is why they look a little tighter than a normal blooming variety. Thanks!
