After spending the time to prepare your Thanksgiving meal and setting a fabulous table, make sure you give your guest's take-home containers that show the same amount of care and thought.
I love sending guests home with leftovers -- I love taking home leftovers even more. It's a great reminder of how delicious the meal (and company) was. The packaging is a great opportunity to reflect the experience as well.
I have discovered some chic and handy boxes that will send off friends and family with a delicious snack for later and make eating leftovers a stylish event in and of itself...
This Martha Stewart slice of pie box is a beautiful way to send guests home with dessert -- it's also a good way to label your leftover pies.
This cookie box has a handy divider to help keep different flavors of cookies or other items such as tea separate from one another.
I love this idea of wrapping up cookies -- the stickers are such a beautiful touch as well. If you do not have stickers with a design on it, just simply buy blank stickers and write your own message on them.
Using a long mailing tube is a fabulous way to stack cookies without worrying that they will break. Here the tube is wrapped with a Christmas paper, but you can customize your own with whatever design or pattern you woud like.
Using Chinese take-out boxes is a great way to divide different side dishes to send your guests home with.
Here is a photograph from Alexis Stewart's blog -- these cupcakes are sitting in a playful and fun Martha Stewart box from Macy's.
Alexis made cookies and wrapped them in a gift box -- a great way to have some treats already prepared to give friends and family (this photograph was taken from Alexis' blog).
The Container Store also has these boxes -- the smaller one is perfect to line with some tissue paper and pile in some leftover desserts like cookies or cupcakes.
I love this bright red takeout box from The Container Store -- it is a durable way to pack up leftovers from Thanksgiving.
Here are some handy boxes from The Container Store -- the see-through window is just like a professional bakery box.
On the Papermart website you can order these bakery boxes -- perfect to send friends and family home with cake, pie, or other desserts.
This Kraft Coffee Bag from The Container Store would also be perfect to store holiday nuts and berries.
For my birthday last year, Alexis made me eclairs -- she also delivered them in boxes with my initials on them.
This Euro Design Wine Carry Box from Papermart is a gorgeous box to put a bottle of wine in for your guests.
If you have several wine bottles to send people home with, then these Container Store wine carriers are perfect for the job. The see-through window also makes it easy to see which wine is in specific cases.
This is a beautiful Birch Veneer Wine Bottle Cylinder from The Container Store -- it's perfect to send home with guests but it could also be a fabulous way to bring wine to an event.
Simple and reliable cookie tins will never go out of fashion. Line these tins from The Container Store with some tissue paper and your desserts won't break during travel.
This is the perfect tissue paper to use in dessert tins (like the one pictured before). From The Container Store, this Golden Damask Tissue has an elegant print.
Other beautiful tissue paper you can use to pack away holiday desserts is this paper tissue from Kate's Paperie.
I love this Mesh tissue Paper from Kate's Paperie. It's such a chic way to pack up cookies and other small desserts.

These are awesome ideas. I hate having tons of left over. But when I send lefter overs in Tupperware, I never see the containers again. This is cheap and great. I found http://www.PaperMart.com to be amazing. They have the lowest prices!
