Color Inspiration from Turkey
Posted by Kevin Sharkey
1 Martha and I love to peruse open air markets for fresh local produce.
2 One man's trash is another man's treasure. Bits and pieces of broken pottery inspire a perfect palette of neutrals.
3 Loving the grape leaves' particular shade of green.

When you've lived through a winter in New York City, followed by a hazy and humid summer among its tall gray buildings, another country's richness of color can leave you breathless. Case in point - Turkey:
1 This beaded hat with its primary colors really stands out in the rough hewn space.
2 The touches of turquoise against the hot-pink backdrop was so striking.
3 This corn peddler in the streets of Bodrum had a fantastic color palette.
4 I loved the faded red color in the fresco patterns.
5 I will definitely use this amazing color palette to inspire a future bedding collection.
Which countries and/or cultures do you look to for color inspiration?
