For the bedroom, I added marble tops to the nightstands for the same reasons. But many readers have asked where it came from.

Many readers have wondered about the marble that sits on top of the two hanging wall units, one in the dining room and one in the living room, as well as my two bedroom nightstands. I added slabs of black marble in order to protect the surfaces and add a touch a glamor.

In the dining and living rooms, it's all about entertaining. The marble here helps protect the furniture from stains (water, wine, champagne, etc.) In the bedroom, I tend to keep a vase of flowers and a carafe of water by my bedside.

All of the furniture is from BoConcept (boconceptus.com). The black marble is from Westchester Granite and Marble (marbleandgraniteworks.com).
