Home Sweet Home

In addition to reading my daily blog, I hope you are all following the progress of my apartment renovation in my bi-monthly column in Martha Stewart Living, as well.  In my September column, I explained the process of lightening my floors and in November, Martha and I organize and set up my kitchen. From time to time, I will also appear with Martha on The Martha Stewart Show to talk about what's happening with my renovation and also share some information about what I have learned along the way. In case you missed it, here's a recent clip from the show that gives you an overview of what's to come.

  • Kevin,
The only advice that I can give you is something that you are following already...take your time. Decorating any space that you live in is not only important for the comfort of you throughout the day, but for those friends and family who come to visit. I admire your talents and keep up the good work. Love to see the progress!

  • Hi Kevin I am following the progress of your apartment renovation in the Living magazine, Diary of a Makeover and love it. Can't wait to see November issue. Unfortunately was not able to watch the clip, it said "This video is not available in your country due to copyright restrictions". Even my daughter tried to open it from London UK it said the same thing. Can you send me another link so I can watch it.
    Thank you

  • Using a color in a space that was intended to be white is about as difficult as it gets. Will you do one complete room prior to making your decision? You also mentioned going from a 400SF studio to this space...Maybe sometime you can talk about making a home in a studio. I'm downsizing and it's incredibly difficult.

  • Hi!
With the message boards down I needed a place to ask:
does Valspar still make Martha Stewart paint? I have looked at the local Lowes, but find no display for
Martha's colors, nor do I find a listing at the Valspar website.
    Many thanks for the help!
