It feels like I only just got back from my last trip to Maine and here I go again! Last weekend was fantastic - we went boating, encountered an enormous storm of clouds (see the photos - it was extraordinary!), stopped for lunch at a favorite local spot, the Isleford Dock, and took in the lovely sights around Mount Desert Island. There was truly not a dull moment to be had. Please enjoy my photos from last time - I'll be sure to take many more this weekend to share with you again soon. Have a fun and inspiring weekend!

Kevin,
Love the blog! It is great to see who such a creative person such as yourself is inspired by places and people.
Isn't Maine a great place? Take it from a fellow Mainer.

We just returned from a week at Mount Desert Island - WOW! Hiked the coastline down to Otter Cliffs. Took a lobster boat tour out to Frenchboro and ate a lobster dinner for $5 - fresh cooked by the lobsterman's wife. Just loved watching the bay dotted with lobster buoys. The care taken to paint the dinghies in those wonderful New England colors was amazing. Saw a spanking new sailboat at a boat builder in Bass Harbor that I wanted to take home with me - once again painted brilliantly! I love Maine!
p.s. Sorry we missed you!
