I think these colors look great together. I used some chopsticks to mix the paints since I couldn't find any stir sticks.

I love the way my blog header looks.  I wanted it to contain many of the elements used in the design process.  I raided the office for tools, fabric swatches, paint, fixtures, etc. -- anything that I could find to create the composition.  Working with our in-house photographer, Ray, I rolled out some white, seamless paper on the studio floor as a background and began to compose my header.  Here are some behind-the-scenes shots of how it came together.

  • Kevin: Your new Manhattan apartment is beautiful!
I can't wait to follow the work in progress. I know the final result will be fabulous!

  • Kevin:I too am an artist and I think your color palette is very inviting. Please keep us updated as it comes along! Just remember this is the fun part! Cheers

  • i love the process of design ....the process is what often leads to the best ideas....i like the colors and items you chose, and am disappointed more of the objects did not show up in the banner you used for the blog...so much more of the shoot could be used if the banner was thinner....just a thought.
